Individual Piano/Voice Lessons - Leslie

Individual Music Lessons -
Music Lessons 23-24

Individual music lessons are an essential part of any musician's growth. Offering instruction on a wide variety of instruments, our program features over 30 of the best private lesson instructors the Chicago area has to offer. Lessons are offered at all six high schools during the school day for district students and weekdays after school for non-district students and adults.

New students must contact us first for a consultation and to schedule a trial lesson. Only returning students may register for lessons online. For an Individual Lesson consultation or to register for a (paid) trial lesson, call us at 847-718-7700 or email us at ce@d214.org.

Kirsten Leslie

Hi there! I would love for you to take private voice or piano lessons with me this school year! Some of my students currently study both piano and voice, and one benefits the other greatly.

Here is a little about me: I'm a musical theatre and operatic singer and pianist; and have soloed several times in Carnegie Hall as well as with the Houston Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Illinois Symphony, Elgin Symphony and more. Some of my past musical theatre roles on stages throughout the United States include Maria in West Side Story, Magnolia in Showboat, Carrie in Carousel, Anne in A Little Night Music, Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto, Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Rosalinde in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. A Metropolitan Opera Competition District Winner; I've toured as a soloist throughout Italy, Holland, Austria, Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic. I speak both German and Italian; and sing professionally with my soprano trio, Tres Belle, and with my sister Regina in The Leslie Sister Duo in which I play piano in addition to singing. Please see my website at www.kirstenleslie.com for more information and sound clips.

Email me any time at kirsten.leslie@d214.org. See you soon!
