District 214 Community Education

Have you taken a beginner ukulele class and you want to continue to grow your skills? In this class you will build on the chords and strumming patters learned in Beginner Ukulele. Students must provide their own instruments.

This introductory course teaches the fundamental skills and conversational patterns that encourage quick foreign language acquisition. Simple dialogue, vocabulary, and grammar development is appropriate for those who have never studied Spanish or who feel the need for review before continuing to Spanish Beginning 2. Pickleball is a court sport played with a whiffle ball, net, and paddle. It’s slower paced than tennis and played on a smaller court the size of a doubles badminton court and it’s lots of fun! No experience required! This class is only open to beginners and will focus on learning the rules and skills necessary to play. There will be some paddles available to use or bring your own. Due to the popularity of our pickleball classes, all refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee.
