Tai Chi (Taiji) is an ancient Chinese exercise with numerous health benefits. As a martial art, Tai Chi downplays brute strength and emphasizes learning motor skills and nurturing the body. The mindful movements promote stress relief and relaxation. Physically, this practice is a low-impact exercise that will foster balance, coordination and flexibility while exploring martial intentions.
Stefan has over 15 years of Chen Style Taiji training at Qiu Zhen Yi Center for Taiji Studies. He received training in first routine of Chen’s Taiji form, second routine of Chen?s Taiji form (called Pao Chui translated: Cannon Fist), Wuji Meditation, Single person Push Hands exercise, Two person Push Hands exercises and Silk-reeling exercises. He has conducted and taught many workshops and classes with D214 Community Education since 1999.
