Get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with an afternoon of lively Irish music and beloved classics! D214 Community Education is proud to present the Galway Gals in concert on Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 pm at the Forest View Educational Center.
In a Celtic music scene traditionally dominated by men, the Galway Gals—Liz McNichols and Anna Gillan—bring a refreshing and engaging sound. Both are classically trained musicians who seamlessly blend traditional Irish folk songs, spirited jigs and reels, and well-known Irish favorites with selections from modern Irish pop artists.
Audiences can expect to hear timeless songs such as Danny Boy, The Irish Rover, Galway Girl, and Fields of Athenry, along with lively instrumentals and crowd-pleasing tunes made popular by artists like The Cranberries, U2, Van Morrison, and The Corrs. Their performances are warm, energetic, and perfect for listeners of all ages.
Tickets are $20 each. Gold Card Member Discount is applicable. Seating is general admission, but there truly isn’t a bad seat in the house! Whether you’re proudly Irish or simply Irish-at-heart, this festive concert is the perfect way to celebrate the season and get everyone in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day.
